Last Friday, the Gateway Initiative was asked to speak to the Rotary Club of Foley at Wolf Bay Restaurant. The Rotary Club has many characteristics and values similar to those of Gateway, with servicing the community being a top priority. Ed Bushaw spoke to the group of business and professional leaders who help provide humanitarian service in our area.
"It was great to update the Rotary Club of Foley on the projects that the Gateway Initiative has been working on in south Baldwin County," says Bushaw. He also spoke on behalf of the South Baldwin Regional Workforce Development Authority (The Authority) and the progress that has been made as of late with the workforce campus in Foley. The Authority has selected the Community Development Group (CDG) to proceed with the pre-development master planning phase.
