Accelerate Your Business

Entrepreneurship | the process of designing, launching, and running a new business; an entrepreneur is an entity which that has the ability to find and act upon opportunities to translate inventions or technologies into products and services.

A major objective of the Gateway Initiative is to develop a program that will assist people of all ages who have a dream of owning or growing their own businesses to develop their ideas and actually launch their new endeavors. Take a peek below at how we’re involved in our local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Business Consulting & Continuous Improvement

The Gateway team routinely works with start-up businesses on business plans including feasibility studies, market analysis, environmental and competitive analysis, and proforma financial planning.  For existing businesses there is a comprehensive menu of business solutions starting with a comprehensive business assessment leading to financial, marketing, human resources and other types of business planning.

Gateway has a broad network of subject matter experts in a variety of industries. If we don’t have the experience, we can connect you with the right people to guide your new venture! If you’re looking to start, build, or grow your business, call us: we’ll link you to the right partner! Informally, the Gateway team has provided coaching and mentoring services to small, local businesses across the county. We also have big long termlong-term goals - Gateway aims to develop an incubator program and eventually a brick and mortarbrick-and-mortar operation in South Baldwin county. Stay tuned and let us know if you'd like to be involved as we help build better businesses in our region. Meanwhile, check out these resources:
