Students from Gulf Shores High School did a phenomenal job representing Alabama last week at the 2023 ProStart National Student Invitational in Washington, D.C. Earlier this year, their skilled management team won FIRST PLACE in the state level competition which earned them the chance to compete at nationals. The competition is an intense, fast-paced event where students demonstrate food preparation and safety procedures, hospitality management, public speaking, and other valuable job skills. Our partners at the Alabama Restaurant and Hospitality Association and their ProStart program is helping to develop the best and brightest talent into tomorrow’s industry leaders.
