Last week Gateway presented to the Hospitality and Tourism and also the Culinary classes at Gulf Shores High School. The students were shown much of the data that Gateway has gathered on wages and benefits within the industry in south Baldwin County, which shows remarkably higher pay compared to the state as a whole. The students were shown the many career paths and positions available within the hospitality and tourism industry, including entertainment, event management, sales, sports tourism, food and beverage, and lodging to name a few.
