The Gateway Training Academy (GTA) brings world-class training and process improvement opportunities to small and large businesses and various industry sectors. Cosmos Restaurant Group is the latest Gateway investor to take advantage of the world-class training offered by faculty from the Harbert Business School at Auburn University.
The Gateway team worked with the Auburn staff and Southwest Alabama Partnership for Training and Education (SWAPTE) to write a grant through the Alabama Workforce Stabilization Program (AWSP) which covered the total cost of training for Cosmos. Courses covered for this training include Capturing the Customer, Creating Culture, Effective Communication, Conflict Resolution, Leadership & Coaching, and Building a Customer Service Process.
Matt Pugh, Director of Operations for the Cosmos group said the following about the training. "We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to train with the team from ATAC. I truly believe that each of our team members feels like they gained a lot of insight and knowledge that will help them along their leadership journey and will make a significant difference in our day-to-day operations”.
